Living Divani @ Basic Collection Budapest
Living Divani is pleased to announce a special event dedicated to design, organized in collaboration with Basic Collection and ELLE Decoration. The gathering takes place on December 4th at the dealer’s showroom in Budapest, a reference space for enthusiasts and industry professionals in the heart of the city. The evening places Living Divani at the center through a dialogue between Carola Bestetti, the brand’s CEO, and Judit Osvárt, editor-in-chief of ELLE Decoration. Together, they guide guests in discovering the brand’s latest proposals and the vision that drives its growth, intertwining the presentation of the magazine’s latest issue—dedicated to the holiday season—with reflections on contemporary design. For the occasion, Basic Collection has renewed the layout of its exhibition space, creating an immersive path that highlights Living Divani’s offerings. The entrance welcomes guests with the elegant new Gala sofa, featuring a fluid identity, complemented by the B2 side tables and accompanied by the Super Frog armchair—a celebratory version marking 30 years of the iconic Frog, a symbol of lightness and character that today assumes a representative role in the collection. The path continues through several living areas. The first revolves around the Rod System modular system, designed by Piero Lissoni and now paired with the Kasumi armchairs in their indoor version, completed by the Moon Coffee Tables, which add rhythm, functionality, and a touch of roundness. The next setting features an Extrasoft composition, the brand’s bestseller, where upholstered modules and storage units alternate, creating a welcoming and dynamic domestic landscape. A more intimate corner invites guests to pause with the Fillet armchair, offered with a refined leather cushion, ideal for a private and sophisticated moment of relaxation. The different settings follow one another, creating a fluid journey through geometries, materials, and proportions. In one scenario, the Greene sofa finds balance alongside the Era coffee tables in their various shapes and finishes, while the Off Cut bookshelf introduces a dynamic rhythm to the space. In another area, a linear version of the Lorentz sofa, designed by David Lopez Quincoces, harmonizes with the matching tables and the pair of Gray armchairs, composing an essential and sophisticated ensemble. The spaces dedicated to conviviality complete the atmosphere: the Notes table, paired with Era Chairs, suggests an elegant dining area, while the Etoile bar table—a 2025 novelty—combined with the Pebble stools, introduces a more relaxed and informal mood.
